GABF 2012. Pours with a clear deep brown hued body with a lasting tan head. Aromas are fruity and leathery with brown sugar, toffee, vanilla and chocolate. Flavors are ashy, cola, cocoa, brown sugar, fuller bodied, medium to lively carbonation, off dry.

From notes. Draft at clybourn. Rasins, vanilla, chocolate and coffee. Diggin this one. I would gladly drink that again.

Sample at GABF 10/11/2012, thanks to Bluemeow76 for assistance with note-taking. Amber-brown color with a medium light beige head and stringy lace. Aroma of roasted malt and chocolate. Medium body with flavors of chocolate malt and mild hops. The finish is roasty with a sweet malty aftertaste. Decent overall.
