Clear dark amber colour (Belgian ale - pale/golden... Yes, of course...), moderate sized beige-ish head; aroma of prune or rather slightly burnt plum jam, dried sour chery, some raisins, biscuity and minimal cocoa notes; taste is the same with some slight licorice, (Christmas) spices and herbal notes; good one

Bottle at Le Cabinet, Geneva. Pours dark amber-brown with large beige spongy head, caramel aroma with floral hops, low carbonation, caramel-roasted malt taste, medium finish with roasted malt aftertaste. Very mellow and enjoyable, good find in Switzerland.

Bottle 330ml.Unclear hazy medium amber color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, caramel, shoe polish, light to moderate yeasty. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration, yeasty, phenol, tart notes. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20100908]

Hazy dark amber with a medium beige head. Sweet aroma with roasted malt, caramel, dark fruit and yeasty notes. Sweet and sourish flavor with roasted malt, caramel, yeast and dark fruits. Finished sourish.

Bottle 33 cl. Courtesy of yespr. Pours a cloudy and opaque brown with some impurities and an off-white head leaving a little laces. A little roasted malt in the nose. Medium body, roasted malt and a little licorice, very metallic edge and an underlying tartness. 080910

Bottled. A hazy red-brown beer with a light tan head. The aroma has notes of malt and caramel as well as an edge of burnt plastic. The flavor is sweet with notes of caramel, malt, phenols, and a bit of burnt plastic, leading to a dry phenolic finish. Thanks yespr for sharing this seldom beer.

33 cL bottle. Pours hazy dark orange to light brown with a small off-white head. Aroma is roasted malty, caramelish and breadish. Yeasty, mild acidic and fruity. Phenolic and dry malty into a fruity and malty finish.
