Bottle @ home. Clear dark orange to amber color, full sized rough a bit bubbly off-white head that lasts for a long time. Aroma is malts, slightly metallic, a tad sourish. Light infection starting it seems. Drink before October 2017 it says, so it apparently is questionable indeed. I missed that when I bought this two weeks ago. Taste malts, again a bit sourish, iron, caramel bitter. Hmm not very good imo. Probabaly, no surely also not a beer I would have liked when fresh, not my kind of style / kind of beer.

Bottle from Mitra Bunnik, BB Febr 2018, 33 cl sample. Slight hazy golden to amber color, short frothy head. Aroma of some cookie, bit herbal tea and some butterscotch. Soft bitterness, caramelly malt, butterscotch. Some weird flavor I recognize, but cant tell from what. Maybe a bit english bitter like, so slightly oxidized. Not really good, guess the previous ratings come from some British nostalgia from before the brexit :-P

33 cl. bottle @ home, bought @ W. van Schaik, Vianen. Clear dark amber with an off-white head. Malty aroma with some rich sweetness and some hops. Taste is bittersweet. Very nice amber.

Bottle at Luden, Utrecht. Clear amber with an off white head. Aroma is completely unexpected, massive fudge and chocolate sweets. Thereβs no normal amber beer things going on here, this is weird and different in the best possible way. Flavour is above moderate sweet and light moderate bitter. Medium bodied with soft carbonation. Lovely!
