Cask at the Harp - London. Decent. Pours clear dark gold with a fine, white head. Grainy bread, some leaves, toffee, light bitterness. Light in body with fine carbonation; OK condition. Sweet finish with husky grains, mild earth. So so.

Cask (Guildford Arms, Edinburgh) - Copper in colour. Biscuity malt, caramel and sultanas in the aroma. Fruity, malty and slightly nutty taste with caramel and walnuts detected.

Cask at the mermaid St Albans. Light copper colour small greyish head. Aroma is light smoke, tobacco and caramel malts. Flavour is nutty caramel malts, some rubber phenols and green apple. Medium palate. Another below par tring ale. Snooze.
