November to January.
An award winning Burton Bridge Brewery winter warmer.
A tongue in cheek take on another well-known winter beer. Brewed when the weather gets colder, this barley wine flavoured beer is a favourite over the festive season.

Cloudy brown pour with immense, frothy head - dough, yeasty aroma - very dry, tart, with hints of banana and clove - bitter in the finish, and not much else - very out of balance.

Huge stiff head sticks up out of the glass and holds its shape. Very cloudy brown color. Earthy, cheesy aroma. Sour fruity flavor, some raisin and wine notes. Some sweeter estery malts come in as it warms but remains acidic and cloying. Quite a disappointment, really.
