Cask, handpump at The Wellington, Birmingham, 16.01.12 in the company of me deal ol’ ma’ Warm gold appearance with a slim white head, quite a harsh bitterness that rips through, also quite thick in the mouth. This is a big and heavy bittersweet beer with a pushy hoppy presence. Good. A6 A4 T8 P4 Ov14 3.6

Cask. Pours an almost clear deep golden with a creamy off-white head leaving laces. Intensely sweet caramel and fruit in the nose. Solid body, lots of fruit, caramel and alcohol with an underlying hoppiness and a warming alcohol finish. 200110
