500ml can in Oslo. Huge white head, partly lasting and leaving fair lacing on the glass. Straw coloured body. Light fruity aroma. Fresh citric taste mixed with a metallic touch and a good dose of sweetness. Short dry ending. Fizzy carbonation (13.06.2007).

(Can 50 cl) Clear, pilsener golden with a white head. Sweetish, malty aroma. Fairly sweet mouthfeel, medium body with malty and lightly fruity notes. Very limited hoppiness in the finish. Quite a decent lager with lovely Emperor penguins on the can. 181106

A yellow beer in the lighter end of the scale with a thin white head. The aroma is sweet with primary notes of bread. The flavor is somewhat cardboardy with light notes of malt, leading to a boring dry end.

Can. Golden beer with a decent white head, leaving nice lacings. The aroma is grainy and not much else. Flowery, perfumed and grainy flavor with a dry, quite bitter finish. Watery body. (060304)

Smallish, normal-laced white head, which subsides quite quickly. Pale copper body with some solitary bubbles floating upwards. Hardly any aroma; can faintly detect some caramel malts, but that’s it. Very faint and watery taste; only in the aftertaste can a vague malt and hop taste be detected. Very, very boring.

Aass ice beer is not the worst example of this miserable style, which as its "raison d'Γͺtre" serves the needs of people who really don't like beer, but insist on trying. No foul taste. Actually, hardly any taste at all.
