Aged in a heavily charred oak foeder for 3 years. Dark malts, cherries and vanilla meld over time resulting in toasted oak, rounded richness and balanced tartness.

30/10/2025. Keykeg at Norwich Beer Festival (Castle Social). Good pour. Super black cherry, chocolate, malted, dark fruits aroma. Very tart and drying. Tart cherry and rhubarb. Toasted notes. Decent body. Tart sour finish. Average carbonation. Extremely good. Beer of the festival.

Keg draught at the Two-Tailed Lion, Leicester. Dark reddish brown and mostly opaque with a small beige head. Vinous aroma, balsamic vinegar, some soy sauce. Taste is full, incredibly sour, vinegar, red grape, cranberry. Meaty. This is a proper sour that tastes its strength. Soy and vinaigrette in the finish. Full body with soft to medium carbonation. My Lord.

Keg at Winckley Street Alehouse, Preston, 16/05/2025.
Light black topped with a khaki cap that thins to a swirl.
Nose is tarte fruit esters, funk, damp oak, herb.
Taste comprises dark malts, buggy elements, light cherry balsams, tarte dried fruit rinds.
Medium bodied, fine carbonation, drying close with a balanced acidic rise.
Decent complex sour.
