*rating overgezet 2016* Het is een donkerbruin bier met een dun schuim. Het heeft een gebrande moutige en koffie achtige geur. De smaak is moutig, gebrand, caramel, chocolade en koffie.

Very dark brown with fluffy head. Aroma has some peas and green walnut and coffee. Flavour is similar but with a stronger emphasis on the roasted malts and coffee.

Bottle from Mitra Bunnik, 33 cl sample. Almost clear dark redbrown color, medium rocky head. Aroma of some dark bread crust, soft chocolatey malt and slight earthy coffee. Lots of dark bread in taste, roasty bitterness, slight sweet note. Bit dry in the finish. Decent.

33cl bottle shared with Kermis at Gras van Buren. Medium off white head. LOw carbonation. CLear almost black pour. Lots of coffee. VEry good .

Bottle at Gras van de Buren, Utrecht. Dark brown with a tan head. Aroma of coffee, roast, a little green, malt, chocolate and light caramel. Flavour is light moderate sweet and above moderate bitter. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.
