Cask @ Port Street Beer House of Manchester. Hazy amber with a small head. It's an easy strength brew that's dry tasting with a bland hoppy-fruitiness.

On tap at Ebenezers, Crewe. Pours an almost murky chrome yellow with minimal white head and good lacing. I get cigarette ash vaguely in the aroma – that can’t be right, surely ? The flavour in the mouth is clearer. It is sharp with pineapple and grapefruit dominating, plus traces of floral hops. Finish is slightly dry. Reasonable, but not my sort of beer.
