Bottle. Hazy amber body with a thick off-white head. Steady carbonation. Patchy lacing. Aroma of nuts, biscuit, wood and warming spices. Flavour of weak tea and a hint of cinnamon. Thin body with a watery mouthfeel. Soft fizz. Pretty good considering it’s (I think) over two years old with a best before date of June 2016.

Bottle from Tesco. Dark amber with an extremely thick and active bubbly head. Inoffensively spiced, but not very flavoursome, it has a metallic-hoppy taste with a more stated metallic nose. Has a light sweetness.
