Deer Abbey is our version of a Belgian Abbey Dubbel. It is a rich complex malty sweet brown ale that has flavors and aromas of chocolate, caramel, raisins, plums and pepper. Dubbels are fairly strong in alcohol with a noticeable spicy, phenolic and dark fruitiness.
