A light, crisp ale that has a slight pepper bite. Brewed with jalapeño, serrano and habañero peppers but don’t worry, you won’t need a full glass of milk to cool your mouth down after drinking this.

Draft at the source. Cloudy pale yellow color, white edge head. Aroma of charred pepper skins. Taste has light straw, pepper flesh, subtle heat that gradually creeps up on you. Tasty.

On tap @ the new location in downtown Fort Collins. Pours a but hazy yellow appearance with little lasting head. Aroma direct have a ton going on though there is a bit of toast and Lennon. Nice pepper flavor. Mild heat. Little veggie flavor. Probably wouldn’t be bad for a pint but besides the peppers, it’s otherwise kind of boring.

On tap at the brewpub
Hazy yellow with a small white head and some lacing. Aroma of fresh green peppers. Flavors of fresh peppers, some sweetness then a nice mellow bite in the back of the throat.
Nice, I liked this. One of the better Chili beers I’ve had. A nice clean and refreshing beer. Not overly hot, but you know it was there.

A- A hazy straw yellow, 1 finger head of foam, some lacing

S- Light notes of wheat, citrus, peppers.

T- Light grain flavour with a nice malt presence, hints of citrus, chili peppers start off slowly but man, mid palate on it gets big and after the swallow, there’s heaps of heat. The warming in my tummy is very soothing.

M- On the high end of light bodied, low but adequate carbonation.

O- This is a very good chili ale that actually BRINGS the chili taste and heat that a lot of others only promise. Yum!
