Purchased a Howler of this from Liquor Shed in Casper.
A- it pours a deep reddish brown with about an inch of foam, leaves some nice lacing behind.
S- nice aromas of caramel malt with a fruity, citrusy, hop nose backing it up.
T- almost a balance between the sweet notes from the malt and the fruity/citrus hops that are more noticeable when I swish the beer in my mouth...yeah, a kind of hoppy Scottish Ale but for me, it works. Others may beg to differ when they would compare it to the classic examples of the style.
M- medium bodied with a light level of carbonation, I like the mouthfeel.
O- definitely a different example of the style but it’s a tasty one so I won’t judge it harshly.
