Bottle, 5.0%. Rough aroma. Not really any banana, but perhaps a bit of caramel. Cloudy yellow colour. Very small white head. The flavour is sweetish, slightly yeasty. Hint of banana flavour. Good wheat beer mouthfeel.

Bottled. An unclear orange beer with a thin white head. The aroma is sweet with notes of straw, wheat, and banana. The flavor is sweet malty and wheaty leading to a dry finish where fruity notes of oranges and bananas lingers.

(Bottle 50 cl) Courtesy of Bov. Pours a hazy golden with a nice, white head. Classical aroma of yeast and banana. Medium body with a rather lively carbonation. Good, fruity banana accents, yeast and citrus. Dry finish with some phenols. But a very decent Hefe. 150807

Cloudy blond color; poor head retention. Banana aroma first, followed by the wheat and light spices. Good body strength, at least the sweetness helps swallowing it; it balances well the typical Wheat characteristics (wheat, spices, banana…). Medium final. Not bad.

Bottled (BB 11/2006)
Just a bit hazy golden color, small steady white head. Strong grapefruit, apple and banana in the nose. Crisp, very citric and wheaty -fruity and refreshing, not maybe the most typical hefeweizen.

Bottled (thanks Bov!). Hazy yellow colour, mediumsized white fluffy head. Aroma is wheat, spices, fruits and banana. Flavour is spicy, wheat, slight banana and some wooden hints. Refreshing, and quite special, not a beer in the masses in the style.

Bottled, thanks Bov! Cloudy golden, rich head. With strong citric banana aroma and notes of green apples it tastes pretty much like a fruit salad. Fairly sweet with clean mouthfeel and medium body. Highly refreshing, although unusual.
