Another new beer from Kelham called Island. It’s a blonde beer brewed with lager malt and caramalt given a floral, spicy fruit lift with the addition of Cascade hops. Very easy drinking and perfect for thirst quenching refreshment. Just the start for the new year

Cask. Clear golden with a white head leaving laces. Citrusy hops in the nose. Light body, fruit, citrus and a whiff of hops with a fairly bitter finish. Credited as a "Premium Blonde Beer". 160110

Cask, Clarence, New Brighton. Hazy light golden colour with a fairly minimal head. A bit of fragrant hop lurking, with citrus and yeast notes in the flavour. Finished gently bitter. Not bad.
