Bottle at PBFX. Hazy orange color, small white head. A bit grassy, apricoty aroma. Light-bodied. Peach, some sugary sweetness, Belgian yeast. Meh.

Bottled at Petalax Beer Festival. Cloudy golden, mid sized head. Fruity vegetable nose. Very sweet with medium body and hard, sticky mouthfeel. Syrup and boiled vegetables. As poor as most stuff this brewer puts out.

(bottle, 33cl) Hazy, golden colour with a medium-sized and slightly off-white foamy head. Bready and yeasty (cara-)malty aroma with nutty and slightly grainy notes and a delicately herbal hoppy touch. Sweet flavour, medium bodied with a lively carbonation. Slightly bready and grainy malty taste with some hoppy notes underneath; sweet and delicately bitter finish with notes of brewing mash and a tinge of metal. 12.XI.13

Medium, very uniform white head over slightly veiled, finely bubbled old-golden beer; faint lace. Lactic nose, with a bit of astringency announced. Thick-set, nearly immovable head seriously hampers smelling. Bit wry-bitterish, yet grainy flavour, as bread gotten wet or made with poor quality flour. Bitterness, thankfully not exaggerated, is crude, metallic, indifferent. Feels fizzy, very highly carbonated. Rather light body, faintly slick. Probably too bitter for the average private (=soldaat), but IMO completely to the image of the Lord Mayor of the honourable LeopoldsBurgh: crisped, embittered, and utterly dull.

16/XI/12 - 33cl bottle from Willems (Grobbendonk) @ home - BB: 6/IX (2012-1275)

Clear blond beer, big creamy white head, pretty stable, adhesive. Aroma: bit grassy, floral, candi sugar, not a lot of aroma though. MF: ok carbon, medium to full body. Taste: citric start, pretty bitter hops, ripe fruity touch, grassy, bit floral. Aftertaste: yeasty, very bitter, almost, chemical. Not too bad!
