Bottle, courtesy of Papsoe. A more or less clear one, copper-colored and with a beige head. Caramel and dried fruits in the aroma, some lemony fresh fruits and of cours banana. The flavor has mostly banana and caramel, with some lemony notes and a touch of lemon. Low on bitterness and spices. Medium body, effervescent. Caramel and banana in the finish. A decent one, but really boring. There’s lots of better dunkelweizens than this one. 100813

Bottle in Marennes, France. Cloudy brown colour with a big tan head. Aroma of dates, cloves and yeast. Flavour was sweet with more fruit, chocolate and a grainy mouth feel. Very enjoyable.
