Bottle, thx to fonefan. A clear, pale golden beer, white head on top. Slightly cellary nose, pale malts and fruits. Grassy notes too. The flavor has pale malts, grassy and fruity hops and a little bitterness. Medium to thin body, dry. The finish is quite bitter, with an underlying flavor of pale malts. Quenching, but boring. 100813

Bottled. Clear pale golden, brief head. Spicy hop aroma. Medium dry with clean, rounded mouthfeel. Dense and grainy with slightly too timid hops. Medium bitterness.

Bottle (bought at the brasserie): Pale golden, visible carbonation, small, lacing fluffy white head; clean sweet-malty, also a bit fruity nose with moderate hoppy aromas; clean, solid sweet-bitter flavour, soft, smooth MF, light bodied; short sweet-bitter finish. An excellent brew by german standards, only good by franconian..........

(bottle) Clear, pale golden colour with a medium-sized blond foamy head with lace. Herbal hoppy and slightly citrus-fruity aroma with hay and light malty notes in the background. Moderately bitter flavour, soft and slightly grainy malty base, again with notes of citrus; herbal hops towards the finish, which is moderately dry and bitter. Fresh and tasty Pilsener.
