This RIS is a nod to those high gravity stouts first brewed by the English in the 19th Century for Peter the Great and his court. The bold flavors and high alcohol content of an Imperial Stout allowed this beer to make the long journey to Russia without spoiling, and quickly became a favorite of the Russian Empire.

Tsar, Czar, Tzar is loaded with the flavors and aroma of chocolate, coffee, and dried fruit; with just enough residual sweetness to balance out the high abv.
