Appearance - 6 | Aroma - 6 | Flavor - 6 | Texture - 6 | Overall - 7.5
Cask at the Carpenters Arms. Pours clear, copper-gold with a foamy, white head. Nose of bready malts, caramel and faint earth. Slightly sour malts in the flavor. More bread. Some piney hops. Light to medium in body with fine carbonation. The finish is mildly sweet, some more caramel and bread and light, sticky bitterness. I feel like this pub isn’t doing their beers justice with their cellar maintenance. As is, so so.
