Pigs Ear! Light palate. Lowe carbonation. Nettley grassy hops. A little chocolate malt.

31st July 2010. ChrisO’s ’Raise The Roof’ tasting.
Hazy brown beer. Little tan head. Watery malt with a little toffee. Not much else going on.

Bottle 50cl. @ ChrisOs Pre-GBBF Shindig 2010.[ Raise The Roof Tasting ]. Clear medium to dark brown color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting to diminishing, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted - roasted, malty. Flavor is moderate sweet and light bitter with a average duration. Body is medium to light, texture is watery to oily, carbonation is soft. Bottled@The Chriso rock the roof down pre-GBBF tasting. Deep amber colour, small brownish head. Aroma is fruits, bread, nectar and some mild earthyness. Flavour is fruits, wood, and mild herbal and toasted notes. Also some slight nuttyness.

Bottled. A black beer with a tan head. The aroma has notes of malt, caramel, and chocolate. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, chocolate, caramel, and wood, leading to a dry woody finish.

Cask gravity at Pig’s Ear BF 09. Black with ruby edges, no head. Decent dark beer, some diacetyl. Not one of the better milds.
