31st July 2010. ChrisOs Pre GBBF - ’Raise The Roof’ tasting. Hazy brown beer, little white head. Smells of aged malt and tastes the same way - was this an old bottle? Tired.

Bottled@The Chriso rock the roof down pre-GBBFtasting. Amber colour, small beige head. Aroma is some oxidation (Madeira/Portlike) and some flowery and fruity notes. as well. Flavour is caramel, sweet malts, some mild oxidized notes. Nice, even though the oxidation probably was not intended.

Pint on cask at The Prince of Wales (Wetherspoon’s), Cardiff. Slightly hazy dark, ruby body. Thin off-white head. Roasted malty sweetness to the nose. Flavour has got a malty profile with sweet caramel and ending up with a light touch of yeast and hoppy bitterness. More than moderate palate (03.02.2007).

An unclear dark orange beer with a huge fluffy white head. The aroma is sweet with notes of yeast, and so is the flavor, though with the addition of notes of straw.
