RBESG 2010, draught/cask at Brasserie 4:20
Cloudy amber color; big frothy head (sparkler). Aroma of geuze, wood, light Parmigiano cheese. Soft mouthfeel; some dry caramel flavor, bitter oranges all the way; lemony sourness, mild; it's a bit astringent in the end. Very good.

Hazy orange with a medium beige head. Aroma had fruity hops, barnyard, wood and brett. Flavor was slightly sourish with fruity hops, barnyard, wood and brett. Sour finish. The only dry hopped that have worked out so far. Lovely.

Cloudy yellow with a small white head. Fruit and herbal (hint of mint) aroma, on top of the delicious 3F funk. Grassy and herbal notes in the fine tart flavour

Styrian Goldings version. Draft. An unclear dark golden beer with a thin orangey head. The aroma has strong notes malt, medium notes of acid and malt, as well as light notes of spices. The flavor is acidic with notes of spices, malt, brettanomyces, and wood. Complex, but weird - not really attractive to me.

3rd June 2010 - On tap at Brasserie 4:20 - think this was about 4am and Alex had kidnapped us in the nicest possible way! Cloudy amber beer, very short white head. Light dry palate, Rich woody sourness. Finishes very dry . The sourness dominating any hop. As always I struggle with this style but seems decent enough to my inexpert palate.
