Cask @ Copenhagen 2010. Nelson sauvin is quite a popular hop nowadays, and gets some extra high ratings. I dont want to add to this nelson sauvin rave, but it fits perfect with the sticky tartness. Bit peachy, vegetable like, but not in a bad way. Good balance.

Nelson Sauvin version. Draft. An unclear golden beer with an off-white head. The aroma has notes of cats piss, hops, and grapefruits. The flavor has notes of grass, lemon, and grapefruit, leading to a very tart finish.

Draught@CPH BeerFest2010. Slightly hazy golden colour with small head. Aroma is grassy, fruity, a bit sour wooden as well as mildly malty. Flavour is quite much the same.

Tap @ Copenhagen Beer Festival, 2010. Pours unclear golden with a small white head. Nose and flavor are grain, cat pee, blackberries and funk. The Sauvin is very intense. Medium and smooth palate. Tart and dry bitter lasting end.

Cloudy golden with a small white head. Aroma of fruit and funk, with white grapes and a chemical note, probably also from the hops. Dry and tart flavour with a chemical fruity touch. Sometimes Nelson Sauvin gets so intense it gets a bit of kerosene. I think that happened here.

Sampled, thanks to plovmand. Misty golden body, lacing-head. Mild aroma of fruity tartness. Taste of fruity acidity. Bittering hops towards the ending. A rounded palate cleanser. Dinkable, but really not my favourite style (Copenhagen Beer Festival at Tap 1 Carlsberg, 06.05.2010).

Draught at Copenhagen Beer Festival 2010. Cloudy golden, airy headd. Distinct aroma of goosebeery and black currant. Soft and tart, vinous with tanninic bitterness. Lemony with lovely hops flavour. The most interesting of the series, but in all I preferred the subtleness of the saaz version where full complexity of the base lambic still prevailed.

Handpumped. Pours hazy orange with a small white head. Aroma is grapefruity and mild citric. Citric to acidic flavoured. Crisp bitter and winegrapes fruity. Nice combination. Acidic and dry into a lingering fruity finish. Solid bitter and acidic.
