Hazy light amber with a tiny off white head. Sweet aroma with yeasty and spicy notes. Flavour was sweet yeasty with fruity, spicy and malty notes. Finished sweet. Quite full bodied for a saison.

Bottle thanks to bu11zeye, marked best before 2010. A gusher. Pours with a huge white head over a hazed yellow body. Aroma is sweet with honey, apple, corn and pepper. Taste is estery with a sort of grainy sweetness, apple, spice and a very dry finish. Small but persistent bubbles.

Light gushing to very good, just off-white head over fully hazy orange beer. Spicy, estery notes, fruity (citrus) and lightly farmyard-like, lots of herbal notes, fresh-smelling. Quite bitter and very yeasty taste, undissociable from the creamy-yeasty, also spritzy MF. Bitterness is long-lasting, hoppy & vegetal (chicory). Rather well-bodied, the carbonation making it deceptively light & drinkable in appearance. Very good, challenging brew. The name might be less than inviting, but one sip of the brew remedies that. NB. Crown corks are not its best features, as I lost ¼ of the bottle in my car between the shop and home…
