Czech Pale Lager is a style that’s as rich in tradition as it is relevant today. So we set out to not only honor the style, but also connect it with our here and now. Virginia craft malts are mashed with our natural water source using a method we’ve developed for our brewhouse. It amplifies a gorgeous depth of flavor in the grain that’s fresh bread meets biscuit meets honeysuckle. Czechia hops lend a lovely lemongrass and floral aroma. The result is a flavorful, balanced, and eminently drinkable beer.

Sampled from the tap at Churchkey. Pours a clear pale yellow with a white head that dissipates slowly to the edges and laces. Aroma has straw and a bit of hay with a touch of sweet grain backing. Flavor has lots of straw with light hay and a touch of sweetness underlying.

16oz cans have a bit of haze over a corn gold body. Nice cap of white head. Nose has brioche, herbs, dough, corn. Flavor is delightfully doughy, brioche, honey, flowers. Super soft finish. Oily.
