Pours a clear mahogany with a small head of off white foam that doesn’t last long.

I get some grain, chocolate, and toffee with some rich caramel malt in the smell.

Malty and grainy taste with some good caramel notes that don’t get too sweet. A bit of chocolate and toffee rounds out this well crafted Doppelbock.

Nice mouthfeel. .heck, everything is nice aboot this Red Lodge offering. Worthy of a repurchase.

Draft: Bronze color with a creamy tan head. Fruiy aroma with yeast and caramel. Some dark fruits appear in the flavor. Rich in maltiness, toffee, and caramel. Picking up the raisons, but not the licorice... and that’s just fine with me.
