Bottle at home, from Paris. Pours a deep, red-brown with a fading head. Malty aroma, some cake and ripe fruits. Very sweet, sugary, prunes and licorice and cherries. Medium in body with fine to average carbonation. Sweet, malty finish, lingering notes of dark fruits. Pretty alright.

Bottle, 25cl, thx to a Danish friend. It pours a clear, copper-colored body and a lasting, dense, beige head. Caramel, roasted malts and candy on the nose. Belgian yeast? At least it’s fruity in that way. It’s medium-bodied and a bit on the sweet side, nicely carbonated. Fresh and dried fruits, caramel, a spiced hint and yeast. Short, fruity finish with caramel. Not they best I’ve had, it goes in several directions, but definitely not bad. 101112

Found in an Ed store in Paris as a "Biere Brune", sure looks like the same stuff according to descriptions. Pours dark amber with okay head. Aroma is barley and wet malt, some caramel, all very weak. Taste is a mix of chocolate and boot leather, a foul mix - kind of like eating a steak covered in chocolate and nitrate preservatives. Just foul.
