Bottle bought at Plevna i July 2022. Dark brown with a large head. Smoke, malt, licorice, some ash, juniper and wood. A pleasant one. Hyvää itsenäisyyspäivää Suomi, Happy Independence Day Finland.

Bottle, kindly donated by japppp as part of latest Euroswap, many thanks. Brown color with huge beige head. Aroma of peat, caramel. moderate smoked taste with light peat, ash, dark malt. Good one.

A dark brown beer, a head is quite small and beige. Aroma has strong smoke, even some peat, some caramel. Taste has smokyness, still some peat. Medium bodied. Strongly smoky, brave, balanced. I like this.

On tap at Plevnan, pours a clear amber mahogany with a small beige head. Aroma is loads with peated smoked malt and ash. Flavour is nicely peated and smoked, with lots of ashy notes, a sort of Islay smokiness, and dry peat. Wonderful use of the smoke. I really like this.

Tummanruskea, kirkas olut melko pienellä vaahdolla. Tuoksu vahvan savuinen ja hieman palvikinkkuinen. Maku pehmeä, maltaisen savuinen ja makeahko. Oikein toimiva savuolut.
