Cask at the GBBF. Golden with a small white head. Grainy malt aroma with grassy hops and a touch of apple peel. Sweet and thin grainy flavour

Cask @ GBBF 2011, Great British Beer Festival, Earls Court Exhibition Centre, London, England.Clear medium amber colour with a small to average, frothy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, toasted - caramel, smoke - plastic notes. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is flat. [20110802]

Cask @ GBBF, 2011. Pours clear dark copper with no head. Caramel, grass and corn. Medium bodied. Dry end.

Cask@GBBF2011. Amber colour, small white head. Aroma is fruits, wood, earth and some sweet spicy and resiny notes as well. Flavour is quite much the same with some slight toasted and nutty notes as well. Nice bitter.

From cask. Pours cloudy orange with a small off-white head. Aroma is toasted malty, light spiced and breadish. Fruity, mild citric and light sweet. Bitter and fruity into the finish. Ends medium dry.

Cask-conditioned at the Hampshire Beer festival, the Seven Stars, Bristol 4/05/2011. Deep amber with a frothy, off-white head. Sweet, toffee and caramel, with some red fruit, earthy malts and a moderately bitter finish. Ok.

Cask at St Albans BF 2010. Amber colour. Good yeast. some biscuit. Reminded my of Harvey’s bitter on the yeast. Drinkable bitter though.

50cl bottle bought in Hartney Whitney. Classic amber gold bitter look with a ring of white head; earthy malt aroma; straightforward malt flavour and a gently bitter finish. The sort of session ale I could drink indefinitely.

Cask (Southampton Beer Festival 2010) - Copper/amber in colour. Malty aroma with a hint of caramel Malty and slightly sweet taste with notes of nuts and toffee.
