Rated as "Deep South Pale Ale" with 5.3%.
The beer is golden in the glass, malty-floral in the nose. In the beginning this beer is quite dry and bitter. Nicely hopped and not too sweet. The mainpart is smooth, sharp-hoppy and dry-malty. The aftertaste has a little sweetness, nice dry malty-hoppy ending.
A nice dry Pale Ale. --> 10/12/11/11

Bottle as Deep South Pale Ale from Julie who got it at Spec’s in San Antonio. Pours light amber with a slight off-white head. Aroma of lightly roasted malt with some citrus? hop. Med body. It’s APA roast malt, and there seems to be strong hop - but the hop is like fruit and pecan? A rather unique APA IMHO. Wouldn’t be my goto beer, but few APAs would. Certainly a good bitter, hoppy finish.

Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a bright orange-copper color with a medium sized foamy orange-white head that left a bit of lacing. The aroma was herbal and spicy with a bit of fruity hops. The flavor was bitter, tangy and fruity with a citric acid element. Medium length bitter, tangy and citric finish. Medium body. Ok.

Bottle. Beer of the month club. As "Lazy Magnolia Deep South Pale Ale". Clear orange-amber color with a quickly-dissipating white head. Pleasant floral and citric hops aroma with light grainy hints. Flavor has a bit of maltiness, slightly sweet, a bit bready, light grainy notes, fruity hints and a bitter hoppy finish with grass, grapefruit and floral notes. Medium-bodied. Enjoyable and easy-drinking.
