Cask @ Upper George Hotel, Halifax. Clear brown with a creamy head. It has a grainy-malty aroma and taste with roasted malts developing further in its aftertaste.

Cask at the St. Albans Beer Festival 2013. Poured a very dark brown, almost black colour with a thin halo of tan head. Aroma of roasted malt, dark fruit with an earthy bitterness. Coffee flavours with liquorice and prunes. Palate continues with some sweetness of molasses and toffee balanced by lingering burnt malt.
