35,5 cl bottle @ home. Bottled 11.06.2013, BBE 06/2014
Aroma has vanilla notes, some cocoa and dark chocolate. Flavour has cocoa, some vanilla, coffee, some ashy notes and hints of peat. Also some salty licorice occurs after some sips. Palate is slightly too high on CO2. Nice, although the ash tries to ruin the show. I think it is the hop profile here that creates those ashy notes.

(Bottle, Akkurat, Stockholm, 30 Aug 2013) Black colour with frothy, beige head. Malty, roasted nose with notes of chocolate, caramel, raisins and dark bread. Malty, roasted taste with caramel, chocolate, dark rye bread, raisins and a balanced roasty bitterness in the finish. Medium body, with a certain sweetness. Tasty and well made. Nice one.

Bortimot svart farge med mye skum. Lukter mer enn det smaker. Tynn og lettdrikkelig. Absolutt en god porter.

Bottle shared with ClubGonzo. Has a black colour with light brown head on top. Aroma is nice of roasted malt, coffee and a little licorice. Feels a bit sweetish and is balanced. The taste follows up in a similar manner with more burnt malt and also ash and leather. Mouth feel is smooth, and the bitterness is light. A roasted and light porter while being balanced and good. Solid one.
