En herlig duft av røkt kombinert med en mild rund smak etterfulgt av en noe skarpere ettersmak kort og godt et godt øl.

Bottle at Tony’s house, cheers to TR for this one, 18/05/13 (could have been the early hours of 19/05 !?!). Dark mahogony brown with a big tan head, good lacing ensues. Nose is roast malt, bitter chocolate, hint of coffee. Taste comprises roast malt, dark fruits, molasses, toffee, touch of sugar. Medium bodied with fine carbonation, roasty finish. An OK porter.

355 ml bottle. A dark amber body with a nice beige head. Fine aroma of light roasted malt, mocha, coffee and a hint of fruity hops. Flavor is sweet, dark malt, mild roast, dark chocolate, dry fruit, licorice, coffee, hint of citric fruit and pine, balanced bitterness. Fine body and a pleasant aftertaste with more distinct bitterness. Smooth and balanced.

17.05.2013, 0,35l bottle @ home:
Big longlasting head. Aroma is more like a black ipa than a porter. Hops, roasted dark malts, grass, pine needles, leaves, some rubber and burnt caramel. Taste is also BIPA-ish. Hops, roasted dark malts, pine needles, wet leaves, burnt rubber, grass, hay, burnt caramel. Longlasting bitterness. Good one, even though I wouldn’t really say this is a porter.

0.355l bottle. This is a deep dark brown, near black one and it has a really big and bubbly light ashy brown top that's really lacing down the sides of the glass. On the nose I get a nice e mixture of coffee, roasted malts, lots of hops and a little bit of licorice. A somewhat dry and really nice aroma. It's definitely what I would call light drinkable this! Soft to average on the carbonation and the mouthfeel is dry and light oily. Lots of roasted flavors. I get some cold coffee, minerals and there is also a strange hoppy-fruity undertone that binds the flavors well together. Loaded with coffee in the finish! This is something everyone can enjoy. A non extreme and really tasty porter. Perhaps the most light drinkable porter I've ever had. 16.03.2013
