Received in trade from TexIndy, thanks for the opportunity. Pours a clear dark brown with beautiful ruby highlights when held to light. Bubbly off white head sticks around forever and sticks to the entire glass. Smells of Grainy malts, dark chocolate and roast. Tastes of chocolate and roast. A bit of nut and faint fruit in the finish. Lingering roast bitterness on the pallet long after each sip. Medium to high carbonation, medium body, creamy silky mouthfeel. This is a great porter. Lower the carbonation a bit and it would be outstanding.

Bottle. Poured brown black with thick pillowy beige head. Full aroma, chocolate, fresh bread and roast. Full bodied flavour, chocolate, malt, toast. Chocolate malty finish. A great dessert beer.

Bottle. Pours a dark brown color with a small off-white head. Has a roasted malty chocolate aroma with some hoppy hints. Roasted malty slightly burnt chocolate flavor. Has a roasted malty chocolate finish.

Big thanks to Probier for this fancy dark beer! 12 oz bottle. Screw off top reveals an arome of mild wet extinguished campfire coals. Nice dark pour with a rocky tan head which does not fade. First taste is mildy bitter and about half way to imperial stout status. Taste also carries over the burnt extinguished old wet campire wood to the tongue. No gunk on the bottom of this bottle. Nice tan lacing and farily easy to drink without too much distrees. Decent beer fizz with fun at times. If you like mild impy stouts or baltic porters give this a try. Finish is healthily full of personality for a plain ol porter.

Bottle. Chocolate malt and lemon grass hops aroma. Dark brown color with small head. Chocolate malt and charcoal flavor. Mild grassy hops finish. Fairly light body. Nice taste - would be a great beer if it had a bit more body.

Bottle. Pours near black (a bit closer to brown on the outside) with a medium brown head that dissolved quickly. Aroma is full of malts with a bit of chocolate, nuttiness and roasted notes. Flavor is similar to the aroma with a bit more of dark grain notes.

12oz shorty bottle. Ruby red-black color. Deep roasty aroma, some coffee. The taste is rich, lots of dry roasty, mossy characteristics. Lots of stout-like characteristics, but maybe some lighter smoky qualities keep it in Portery. Very well done, I’m quite impressed with this one. Certainly above par for a US porter. Recommended.

12 oz bottle. Pour is hazed brown ruby with a big thick three inch tan head. Head falls slowly with spidery lacing. Aroma of soft roastiness, nice slight charred maltiness behind that. Some pine hops, though they are certainly in the back. Taste is roasty malty goodness, along with a welcome bright hop bitterness to the finish. Also a reach nice grassy, tabacco earthiness as it warms. The malt is quite smooth, with the roast perfectly accenting. Palate is medium, decent amount of carbonation and has a clean, dry, brief finish. Really smooth and drinkable porter. (7,4,8,4,16 - 3.9)

Courtesy of sebletitje. Pours deep amber with nice mocha head. The aroma is mild with notes of chocolate, roasted malts, a bit of caramel and faint burnt malts. The taste has a bright pulse of a modest level of malt astringency and burnt maltiness followed by more malts and more burnt malts. Midway and to the finish a light amount of malt astringency helps to finish the experience.
