Handpull cask at the Ale Wagon, Leicester. Dark brown bordering on black with an off-white head. Aroma with liquorice and earthy malt. Sweet taste with blackberry notes, more liquorice, a bit of sulphur. Thin body buoyed up by some natural carbonation. Pretty damn good.

Cask-conditioned at the Wellington, Birmingham 01/02/10. Dark brown with reddish undertones and next to no head. A sweetish, fruity mild with a light mouth feel and slightly bitter finish. Forgettable.

Flat looking mild with virtually no aroma and a watery flavour. Has a slight bitterness about it but overall very watery.
