Bottle, 75cl corked. It pours a headless, clear golden body. The body looks good, but without head it’s like shaving the hair off of a super models head, something is sure missing and definitely not as good looking as with hair. The aroma isn’t much more exiting, it’s fruity and herbal with some pale malts and a hint of spices. Some flowery notes too. Of course, that could have been a nice combo, but here it’s just dull. The flavor steps up a bit, it’s malty in the back, with more obvious fruityness and flowers, some hints of tobacco chimes in, and towards the end it becomes more fruity. Some bitterness too of course. Or luckily maybe? Medium body, dry and pleasantly carbonated. Commercial description says it’s limited to 30000 bottles, I think that’s just fine. 110527

Bottle 75 cl. Pours a clear yellow with a small white head. Heavy banana, sulphur and yeast in the nose. Fairly rich body, heavy carbonation, lots of banana, yeast and phenols. Bitter finish. "One of the world’s most exclusive beers" wah, wah, wah... A decent Weizenbock, that’s what it is. 280511

Bottle 5274/10000 picked up in Salzburg, Austria. A flatish but very light beer. Unusual in as much as pear dominates with some subtle peach backing it up. Mild malty finish.
