Kievari ESPI kuuluu Laitilan Wirvoitusjuomatehtaan Kievari-nimellä tunnettuun erikois- ja kausiolutsarjaan. Kievari ESPI on tuotesarjan seitsemäs tulokas ja edustaa perinteistä, brittiläistä E.S.B, eli Extra Special Bitter -tyyliä. Valmistuksessa on käytetty korkeatasoisimpia ainesosia laadukkaan lopputuloksen varmistamiseksi.
Aromikas ale on luonteeltaan ryhdikäs, vahva ja voimakas. Pale ale- ja tummat karamellimaltaat antavat yhdessä brittiläisen pintahiivan kanssa olueen tukevan ja luonteikkaan rungon. Oluen makua on täydennetty käyttämällä tuotannossa korkeatasoista Bramling Cross -humalaa sekä First Gold -humalalajikkeella tehtyä runsasta kuivahumalointia. EBC 46, EBU 48

Draught @ Olutravintola Konttori. Rated on 08.01.2010
Aroma has English hops, some grainy notes, toffee and hints of hay. Flavour feels a bit harsh with grainy notes, English hops, some toffee, hints of caramel and hay. Closer to a golden ale than ESB.

Deep clear, amber color. Steady creamy beige head. Bready, lemonady aroma. Bready and hard, metallic mouthfeel. Decent bitterness. Clean, but very hard and harsh with some Laitila’s house flavor. Not typical ESB.

(Draught at Hilpeä Hauki) Poured amber and clear with medium sized, white, dense and quite quickly disappearing head. Aroma was malty and hoppy. Palate was medium bodied with quite a lot of carbonation. Flavours were malts, toffee, hops, lightly citricness, grapefruit, sweetness, strawberry and bitterness. Aftertaste was malty and bitter. The beer was quite harsh.
