Combining the traditional method of brewing with interrupted fermentation means that only a small amount of alcohol is produced, at the same time allowing very characteristic qualities of both taste and aroma to be obtained.

A light, pale beer with a delicate hint of hop bitterness.

Can. A golden beer with a thin bubbly white head. The aroma is of nonfermented sugars. The flavor is sweet with notes of unfermented malt. The body is no wonder thin.

Can from Bottleworks. Pours gold with a foamy white head. Malty/corny aroma. Bready/malty flavor. Like the Near Beer of old, says my old memory. Not so bad, but not so good. Nostalgia time.

0.5 l bottle from a store in Durres, Albania. What a coincidence two my fellow ratebeerians had it just recently from a completely different source. Beer itself poured golden body with medium sized head. Stinky aroma, cheap metallic malts, skunk of vegetable cornflakes. Flavor, however was quite pleasant for such a brew. Yes, watery, but also slightly sweetish malty with long grainy finish. Some grassy notes as well. Good for an NA! Drinkable and may be even refreshing.

Canned(500ml). -Pale golden coloured, small white head that went away fast, cornflakes nose. Quite thin and watery, but not so bad as I’ve expected. Rather sweet bready cornflakes taste. Drinkable.

0.5l can courtesy of and shared with ogivlado (thanks!) Poured a dull golden body with a small white head that went away fast. Strong nose of soggy cornflakes. Lemony soggy cornflakes in the taste, a touch of honey. Not offensive and ok for a n/a. Having drunk several Van Pur "masterpieces" I wasn’t all that thrilled with the prospect of trying this, but it wasn’t all that bad...

Canned. Honeyish golden colour with creamy mediumsized white head. Aroma is malts, tomatosauce and bread. Flavour is bread, sweet malts and quite papery/cardboardish. Not among the worst low alco’s I’ve had.
