*Old rating, 0,33l swing-top-bottle, best before 18.08.10. Mild-würziges, leicht süßliches Bier. Sehr dünn-neutral, keine nennenswerte Herbe, schade.

Soso, Gaffel verstößt gegen die Kölsch Konvention und bietet ein Bier an, das zu dem Namen Kölsch noch einen Zusatz beinhaltet – was ja eigentlich verboten ist. Dieses „Gold-Kölsch“ hat 15% weniger EBUs. Getreidiger Geruch, deutlich modrig. Im Antrunk mild herb, das Getreide steht im Vordegrund, wird dort aber bald durch die nun wässrige Herbe eingesetzt. Diese wiederum zieht eine leichte Bitterkeit mit sich, die unangenehm trocken und bissig daherkommt. Erneut modrig, die sonst frische Art von Kölsch ist hier konsequent unterbunden. Zum Ende metallern getreidig, ein Hauch Hopfen wirkt fast verdorben und verschlechtert das Ganze noch.Plörriger Nachgeschmack mit sehr trockenem Mundgefühl. Ein absoluter Griff ins Klo! 10/7/5/2/11/3

Bottle 330ml. w. swing top.Clear medium yellow color with a large, frothy to creamy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white to off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, grain, toasted, boild peas, vegetable, light hoppy, grass. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average to long duration, fruity, grass hops. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20100613]

Bottled. Golden colour, mediumsized fluffy white head. Aroma is boiled peas, vegetables, herbs and some melted rubber. Flavour is sweet malts, some earth, herbs and mild grainyness.

Swing-top bottle (from Koelschtrinker). Sour milk and lemon peel aroma. Clear golden yellow color with small head. Sweet-tart lemon and light malt flavor. Nicely blended and easy drinking. A nice session beer.
