Bottle, Fristo, Isny. Coppery brown, medium white head, medium lasting. Moderately spicy nose, some very present yeaty feeling, some milder caramel. Mildly sweet, mild bitterness. Medium aftertaste. A bit sharp. Light body. Ok.

€-Flascherl: Hazy, Deep mahagony coloured, quickly vanishing loose off-white head, moderate sweetish-bitter aroma of dark malt with traces of wheat, yeast and chocolate; mild to moderate sweetish-bitter flavour, light bodied and a bit tart; slightly lingering finish of dark malt and chocolate with an increasing bitterness towards the aftertaste. Not the greatest Dunkelweizen...

0.5L bottle into a trappist glass:) the waiter thought it would be passable. Hazy chestnut brown. Aroma: phenols, dark malts, bread. Lightest body. Medium dry taste. Malts and yeast. Low bitternss. This is the case of a disappointing dunkelweizen.

Ins Glas ergießt sich ein trübes braunes Bier mit schöner Schaumkrone. Geruch hefig, würzig, fruchtig. Geschmack hefig fruchtig, würzig, Röstmalz.

Bottle looks really good. Beer in the glass dirty-brown, small head. Starts intense malty-yeasty, some fruity hints of plum. Modest sourish. Modest roasty. Finish could be more balanced, sourish-malty. Nothing special.

Bottle 500ml.Unclear medium brown color with a large, creamy, good lacing, fully lasting, off-white to white head. Aroma is light to moderate malty, moderate yeasty, dark fruit, sharp yeasty, burnt plastic notes, sour overripped - rotten fruiets notes. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and light bitter with a average to long duration, sharp. Body is medium, texture is watery - creamy, carbonation is soft. [20100613]

Bottled. Amber colour with big foamy/fluffy slightly off-white head. Aroma is caramel, mild toffee, yeast and some earthy notes. Flavour is wheat, some mild notes of herbs, earth and yeast.
