Cask at Star Inn, Bath. An unclear red cider with a thin beige head. The aroma has notes of apples and red berried. The flavor is a bit sweet with notes of apples, not quite ripe, and red berried, leading to a dry and somewhat tart finish.

At the Farmhouse in Bath, adjacent to the Abbey Ales brewery. Cloudy tan-yellow colour. Soft, apple with light tannins and light sulphur. A basic, easy-drinking cider.

Cask-conditioned at the Bank, Bristol 02/01/10. Apparently produced for Abbey Ales of Bath. Pale orange with a slight white head and no carbonation. Decent, dry aroma of tart apple with some yeast and pleasant cheeseiness. Flavour inclined towards dryness, with more tart fruit, a barnyard edge and dry finish. Good.
