Cask-conditioned at the Bag O’Nails, Bristol 23/6/07. Deep gold colour with slight head. Aroma of green fruit with a whiff of hops. Flavour of earthy malt with a decent hoppy finish. Ok, but it didn’t really come together.

Cask at the Red Lion, Cricklade, Wiltshire 09-06-07. Poured golden in colour, had fruity nose, but after a few sips this beer came across as being very tired and well past its best, credit to the landlord who totally agreed with me and changed it immediately, shame as might not get the opportunity to try this again very easily. Had this beer again at the Swan, Bicester, 17-06-07 tasted much much better, nice citrusy hoppiness, good fruity flavours very nice session beer.
