This copper-coloured ale is smooth and fruity, with a definite caramel character and a firm hop balance to offset the sweet notes.

Tried at the royal hop pole, Tewkesbury. Deep Amber colour with a thin white head. Slight malty aroma with caramel. Taste fruity and mid sweet.

Cask half-pint in my local Wetherspoons on 4th Sep 2015. Nice copper red body with a creamy head in nature, texture and colour, some good lacing off it too. Malts rule the aroma and taste with both caramel and toffee flavours coming through, not too sweet though. Very pleasant.
