Robust porter style, dark color, with cappuccino color foam, brewed from a mixture of six barley malts, water, Fair Trade cane sugar, hops and yeast. Intense and toasty nose, with accents of anise, carob, licorice and coffee, full body taste, good structure. Porteresa gives enveloping sensations every sip, ideal with mature cheeses, red meat, game, spoon chocolate desserts, dry chocolate cakes and dried fruit.

Bottled. An unclear brown beer with an orangey head. The aroma has notes of brown sugar, caramel, and bread, as well as lighter notes of vinegar. The flavor is acidic with notes of malt and caramel as well as lighter notes of vinegar, leading to a dry finish.

Bottled@Blindtasting at fonefan. Deep amber colour, small beigeish brown head. Aroma is nutty, fruity, mildly coffeeish as well as some toasted notes. Flavour is sour wood, liquorice, some mild toasted and ashy notes as well. Mild berryish notes.
