On tap. Dark brown with a vague reddish hue and an off-white head. Sweetish hard roasted malt in the nose with a whiff of coffee. Medium body, hard roasted malt and a little vanilla. Discreet bitterness. Pleasant and easily drinkable. 070510

Draught, 5.8% at KØ10. Good sweet liquorice aroma. Black colour. Small stable brown head. Also good liquorice flavour, sourish from the hops, but quite good still.

Draught @ Olfestival Kobenhavn 2010, Carlsberg TAP1, Ny Carlsbergvej 91, Copenhagen V, Denmark.Clear medium to dark red brown color with a small to average, frothy - fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is light heavy malty, roasted, burnt, smoke, berry notes, vegetable notes. Flavor is moderate sweet and light moderate bitter with a average to long duration, anis seed notes. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20100507]

Draught@CPH BeerFest2010. Deep brown colour, small brown head. Aroma is roasted malts, some ashes as well as quite rich wooden notes. Flavour is roasted malts, some ashes, dark fruits as well as mild toffee.

Copenhagen Beer Festival 2010 - Dark brown in colour. Smoky and roasted aroma with chocolate and coffee. Roasted taste with coffee, plain chocolate and some smoky hints.

Draft. A red beer with a thin orangey head. The aroma has notes of malt and caramel. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt and caramel as well as hints of smoke, leading to a dry smokey finish.

Draught at Copenhagen Beer Festival. Dark brown, small head. Sheer coffee aroma. Dryish with clean, rounded mouthfeel. Very roasty - dominated by coffee. Fairly low bitterness.

From tap. Pours dark brown to black with a tan head. Aroma is dark roasted malty. Roasted malty and dark liqourice like flavoured. Subdued sweetness and a slight bitterness coming through. Ends dry acidic and hardroasted malt flavoured. Lasting roasted and acidic finish.

Brown with a tiny beige head. Sweet aroma with roasted malt, coffee and liqeurice. Flavour had roasted malt, dark chocolate and liquerice notes. Finished slightly dry.
