A beer with an amber coloured body, orange reflections and a dense cream-coloured head which is brewed with toasted malts.
Sella del Diavolo (devil's saddle) has the aroma of caramel enhanced by strong fruity notes of morello cherry and prune but also has herby and peppery notes resulting from a clever use of aromatic hops.
On the palate it is warm and winy with an appropriate dryness that balances the beer with its sweet fruity notes, toasted and slightly smoky notes and sharp and bitter notes, giving it a particular longlasting aftertaste. As a table beer, Sella del Diavolo works very well with traditional Sardinian dishes such as roast lamb and suckling pig cooked on the spit, as well as with medium matured cheeses. Its biscuit notes make it ideal also as a drink with sweet chocolate cakes or with almond or dried fruit cakes.

7th beer of Italian beer tasting at Finalmente in Sleepy Hollow, NY. This one is amber with fizzy head. Tastes of caramel, with high carbonation and malty, spicy, and pepper tastes. You can sense some of the alcohol. allright

Bottled. An unclear amber beer with a thin beige head. The aroma has notes of malt and fruit. The flavor is sweet malty with strongest notes of fruit, leading to a dry finish where the fruity notes lingers. Thanks Myrup for sharing.

Hazy orange with a medium beige head. Sweet fruity aroma with malty and caramel notes. Sweet aroma with toasted malt, ripe berries, spices and floral hops. Finished somewaht bitter.

75 cL bottle, courtesy of Myrup. Pours hazy orange with with a small collapsing white head. Mild orange fruity and light citric note. Bitter and mild citric flavoured. Fruity hoppy flavoured finish. Nice one.

750ml bottle shared by argoO, thanks! Brown-amber color. Malty sweet butterscotch aroma, a touch off. Sweet brown malt tastes. Smooth and sugary. Some minimal balancing hops add a touch of bitterness spicy bitterness. Smooth and pleasant enough, but pales in comparison to the French versions. Still has that smooth Italian body. 2nd time I had it and I found it a little smoother.

Cream to mango-yellow head, fine and dense, dwindling over hazy red-foxy amber beer. Earthy, grainy, and "cassonade" (light brown sugar) aroma’s; little touch of alcohol. Taste again very earthy, leafy flavours, overlying sweeter malts flavour, but ending short-bitter. Complex palate, well-balanced. Spritzy texture, medium bodied, quite slick - grist slickness. Actually a very nice beer, pretty complex and well-balanced. It might seem classy, blue bottles, but I’d rather save a few Euro’s on those hefty 11, in exchange for a more rural bottle.

rosso rubino buona schiuma piuttosto persistnete piuttosto fine al naso su sente la leggera tostura un poco di tostato un leggero fruttato se si versano anche i lieviti e una nota di luppolo in bocca malto simile al naso tostaure leggera affumicatura finale luppolato abbastanza secca il corpo è medio la rende facile a bere voto lievemnte più alto del dovuto forse ma ci può stare
