A refreshing ale with a strong character; its fruity taste comes from barley grown in the Nord department of France and its highly aromatic yeast, its bitterness from a specific variety of hops.

Bottle at home with Lyoli. Pours crystal clear yellow with a rich, foamy white head. Basic malt aroma, light spicy hops. Flavor has some faintly grassy bitterness, white sugar, mild doughy malts. Medium to full in body with fairly lively carbonation. Medium warming finish, bit more doughy malt sugars, slight grass. Very decent.

Bottle at a tasting. Thanks Oren. As "3 Monts Classic Golden Ale". Clear golden with a medium white head. Aroma of malt, fruits, light spicy notes and light earth hints. Sweetish fruity flavor with some malt and a bit of alcohol. Medium-bodied.

750ml bottle. Paid $7.99 at Gary’s Beverage, Portsmouth, NH. Slightly hazy golden pour, huge head. Coats the snifter with tons of lace, nice eye appeal. Some faint bread, biscuit and a Champagne like notes in the smell. Sweet taste with malt base with lots of fruity and spiced flavors resembling the smell. There is also a touch of grape. Quite a bit of hops but without any bitterness. Fairly complex in flavor. Lively carbonation makes a tingle on the tongue with a dry finish. Very interesting, a nice brew to sip. I did enjoy this.

Bottle from Carrefour, Calais, France. Golden coloured pour with a big frothy white head. Hoppy aroma, reminds me of a Polish lager smell. Tastes hoppy, bitter, malty, bready. It’s nothing special but probably one of the better French beers.

750ml bottle. Pours a light gold with a large, frothy head. Aroma is light malts, grassy hops and marzipan. Subtle. Grassy start. A little marzipan on the finish. Lots of carbonation and a dry finish.
