Chestnut in colour, this symphony of malt has mellowed for two months during a long 8°C tank maturation on the lees. UK Ernest hops were loaded in the kettle to produce a whopping 56 IBUs of bitterness. A rich malty beer with a robust, lingering bitterness.

Keg draught at the Rutland CAMRA Beer Festival, June 2023, Rutland County Museum, Oakham. Dark brown and slightly hazy.a full beige/khaki head. Malty, malty aroma with notes of oak and balsamic vinegar. Sweet taste with chocolate malt and more oak. Decent
